About Me

Keely Kastrukoff (she/her)

I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2010. I was an instructor for the Douglas College Breast/Chest Feeding Course for Health Care Providers from 2011 to 2017. I was a Lactation Consultant at Victoria General Hospital for the two year LC pilot project from 2021-2023. For the past 19 years, as a registered nurse, I have supported clients to learn and continue to breast/chest feed their children.

I am honoured to support families in welcoming their infants home. There is nothing more special than when a parent is able to comfortably latch and feed their infant for the first time. Though breastfeeding and chest feeding are natural, it is not always easy. I am happy to assist families to babies feed their infants to the best of their abilities and meet their feeding goals.

I have worked in southern BC and northern AB, and am now very pleased to live with my husband and two adolescents on the traditional lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.

In my free time I enjoys paddle boarding with friends in Brentwood Bay, hiking trails on the Peninsula and sharing meals with my family.

Committed to Community

My husband and I fell in love with the Saanich Peninsula in 2004 on our honeymoon. We soon moved here with our infant son in 2006, staying in our friend's basement suite. We both realized that we needed a connection to community for our own health and wellness, as well as that of our young family. We are so grateful to those who welcomed us in and made the Peninsula feel like home.

My hope is to do the same for new parents. To help you feel at home within your new role as parents and to feel connected to other families with young children.
